DFW Writers Conference- May 6-7, 2017

https://dfwcon.org/
Writers need professional development, too. One great way to do this is to attend conferences. Now, Fort Worth Writer’s Boot Camp is not affiliated with DFW Writers Conference, but founder Rachel Pilcher has attended and will be attending this upcoming conference in Dallas May 6th and 7th.  Keynote speakers for the conference this year include sci-fi author Rachel Caine, memoirist Stephanie Klein, and eBook publisher Jane Friedman.

They give a great opportunity for you to meet with fellow writers, professional writers, editors, agents, publishers (both traditional and independent), as well as give you excellent ideas for improving your work. You’ll learn promotional skills you would not have otherwise thought you needed- by the way, every writer who publishes will have to promote themselves at some time, whether they are traditional or independently published. Attending a conference is all about finding out more about what you didn’t know you didn’t know. This is what DFWCon and many other writing conferences provide for you. Check it out! If you can’t make it this year, plan early to sign up for next years’ conference.

The current pricing for the conference is $399 through April 28, 2017.

For more information, check out the DFW Writers Conference website, their Facebook page, or the Facebook Events page for DFWCon 2017.

  3. This place is stunning. The architecture is beautiful and the decoration is spectacular. Environment was transparent and resonant and warm and immediate. I loved these Chicago venues and my experience here was very exciting.
